Is there a time limit on the program?
What kind of projects can I estimate with the Lite edition?
+ Stockpile volumes
+ Building Pads
+ Pond Designs
+ Sports Pitch Design.
You can also use the ‘strip’ or ‘overlay’ elements to calculate volumes for removing or adding a layer of soil.
The Lite software can triangulate points, contour lines and break lines to create the existing terrain and give you the position at any point on the surface, as well as 3D views. This can be handy for using in conjunction with more manual methods and spreadsheets.
The Lite can also be used to read files that have been produced within the professional edition of our software.
Can I use the program professionally?
You can also distribute as many copies as you need to colleagues and partners, so you can all read and edit the files. The Lite software can also be used to read files that have been produced within our Professional software.
What are the system requirements?
This is highly dependent on the complexity of the site you are working on and the amount of data you use to define existing and proposed surfaces. Complex CAD data and projects with more than 100,000 survey points can need more powerful systems. From our experience we give the following guidelines :
